Whether you are an expert
sailor or a beginner, the Fort Worth Boat Club is the place for you.
The internationally known Fort Worth Boat Club was established in 1929,
making it one of the oldest yacht clubs in Texas. Spread out over 14
beautiful acres on the shores of Eagle Mountain Lake, the FWBC offers a
secluded, private family-oriented atmosphere with a swimming pool and
tennis court. Members are eligible to use our fleet of ten J22s and
receive monthly newsletters and the annual LogBook (member address
book).
Amenities include a year-round, full-service restaurant and bar.
Traditional functions are held throughout the year with facilities
available to members for private functions. In fact, some non-sailors
join the Boat Club as social members just to use the dining facilities
with family and friends.
We have a large harbor with sailboat slips, covered boathouses and full
harbor services including gasoline, hoist, launching, etc. Dry storage
of boats is also available. A small chandlery sells boat parts, nautical
clothing and souvenirs. On-site security is provided 24 hours a day.
FWBC has an extremely active fleet racing year-round, a junior sailing
program which includes a summer camp. We are reciprocal with most other
yacht and boat clubs.
